ICARUS presents on Climate Change Modeling at the Conference of Irish Geographers
Three ICARUS PhD students presented their research at the Conference of Irish Geographers at UCC on May 14th 2009. Julia Hall presented a vulnerability analysis of public water supply under changing climate conditions focusing on the Moy catchment. Aideen Foley presented on uncertainties in regional climate model out put for Ireland and Jackie McGlouglin examined locally scaled climate impacts assessments.
Postdoctoral research John Coll presented a paper on biodiversity and climate change where he examined how models can be refined to better inform adaptation models in Ireland.
The conference was attended by over 120 geographers from Ireland and abroad.
